This is the Christopher Rainbow Project.
Let me tell you all about it...
Rainbows have always held a special place in my heart because they hold the promise of something good at the other end...
I need the something good...
because I've had the something horrible.
This is in memory of my angel boy, Christopher Anthony. 
He died just before his 6th birthday from a rare disease, Wilson's disease.

In trying to "cope" I needed to do something to keep his beautiful spirit alive.
This something needs to have a positive spin on it.
After much thought I decided that I needed to build something for parents and family members dealing with the loss of a child.
But what?
And how??
And what purpose would this hold???
So I started praying and chanting...
and it came to me.
A beautiful memorial garden...
a special memorial garden...
a place where people could go and heal.
A Labyrinth.

Surrounded by meditation gardens.
Each paving stone in the Labyrinth could be dedicated to a child who has become an angel and engraved with the childs name.
Now, how do I get a piece of property, get funding and finally have this built?
Simple.
By acts of kindness. A kindness plan utilizing simple, small, printed cards that read:
"The Christopher Rainbow Project" 
Followed by a notation on the card that reads "this act of kindness is in memory of Christopher Anthony, make someone smile today, share an act of kindness with someone else"...
( kisses and kindness make us feel loved)
You may also add the name of a child on the back of the card that you want to remember.
You may also leave it blank if you wish.
You remember both children with your act of kindness. And the process just keeps growing.
People may request these cards from me. (This idea I borrowed from the wonderful movie entitled PAY IT FORWARD.) 
These cards are at NO COST.
Once they receive these cards it is their job to begin doing random acts of kindness.
It can be as simple as mowing an elderly neighbors lawn,
or buying someone a cup of coffee...
You choose what you want to do.
Along with the act of kindness, the recipient is given the kindness card.
The card gives THIS website for people to write in and share their story about their own kindness experience.
Kindness stories need to be emailed to me.
They will be compiled and placed into a book.
The card also instructs the recipient to
Pass it on.
Simply do an act of kindness for someone else.
Once I have enough stories placed into a book ...I will have the book published and use the proceeds of the sales generated to fund building the Labyrinth and the meditation gardens.
VOILA! Magic!
So in Christopher's memory ( as well as all our little angels) I begin the journey of a thousand miles...
starting with the first step...
